Connor Wright

Connor joined the committee back in late 2013 and has been with us ever since!

Connor is the Galas very own technical guru! Managing everything from our websites and sound systems to our two way radios.
Connor knows the operational side of the Gala inside out! Anything from flags to power Connors got it!

Connor is a regular face in the community and is part of several organisations within Newtongrange.

Connor became our Vice Chairperson in 2018.

Alison Stables

Alison makes sure the Gala's finances are all in ship shape ensuring everything is accounted for!

Lauren Joined the committee in 2023

Lauren helps keep our social media, website and marketing up to date!

Nathan Mayes

Park Coordinator 

Nathan joined the committee in 2017

Nathans  is our Park Coordinator. He deals with all the shows and traders that keeps crowds pouring into the park year after year! 

Nathan Knows the park inside out !(trust us.., we've tested him haha!)

Nathan ensures everything has its place makes sure everything gets into the park smoothly on the morning of the Gala Day.

Mary Rejoined the committee in 2022

Mary joins us with many years of previous gala day experience! 

She has a vast knowledge of the gala days official proceedings and is our in house "Gala Steps" expert!
