Big thank you to NWH Group for providing us with funding this year it was much appreciated. We thank you for your support! Newtongrange Gala Committee are proud to announce that our young photographer LEWIS DONALDSON is the winner of the Scottish Youth Landscape Photographer of the year. It is a great honour for him and his family as well as to our Galaday Youth Committee and the Newtongrange community. Very well done Lewis, you are an absolute credit to the committee.  Below is Lewis's winning photo.  Newtongrange Galaday chair, King Charlie & Queen Saffron are honoured to be invited to the Queens event at Newtongrange railway station on 9th September. It is a privilage to see this railway line reopening which will help promote our community and encourage visitors & tourism.
To celebrate the Borders Railway opening on 9.9.15 whereby the Queen will be travelling on the 1st train. Newtongrange Gala Day are proud to celebrate this occasion & our gala day bunting will be put up in the Main Street to mark the occasion. Denise (chair)
